- The Return on Investment for Employee and Family Assistance Programs: This study concludes that employers see significant ROI when helping their employees deal with personal and emotional issues: every $1 invested in an EFAP provides more than eight times the return on investment. The study further indicates the value of EFAP in preventing work absence.
- Online EFAP service offerings: Re-examining user demographics and access patterns: In this report, we re-examined our traditional and digital channels of support, and found that the convenience and efficiency of using digital means to seek information and assistance not only continues to influence Canadians' EFAP access and usage patterns, but is also attracting a younger, historically more difficult to engage demographic of users.
- Fitness Coach Connects: Combining physical activity, coaching, and digital tools to support optimal employee health and productivity: In this report, we examined the effectiveness of our EFAP physical fitness program that uses technology and coaching to promote better physical and mental health through physical activity and behaviour change.
- The effectiveness of video counselling for EFAP support: In this report, we examined the clinical files of six counsellors who provided both video and in-person counselling services, and found that video counselling proves to be a capable and accessible delivery channel for EFAP support; one that is as effective as in-person counselling.
- The digital age: How people are accessing EFAP services: In this report, we examined our traditional and digital channels of support, and found that multiple digital channels are attracting a younger demographic who may never have considered Employee and Family Assistance Program support through traditional means.
- First Chat: Attracting New EAP Users Through Online Text-Based Chat Services, 2012: We explored the impact of synchronous, text-based counselling in order to identify what Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers can do to satisfy client's demands for new forms of digital clinical support.
